DESCRIPTION:The EELISA Staff Representatives’ Proposal is an initiative dedicated to enhancing the engagement, recognition, and professional development of administrative and support staff within the EELISA Alliance. While faculty and students are at the forefront of European University Initiatives (EUIs), the role of administrative and technical staff is equally crucial in ensuring the success and sustainability of transnational cooperation. This session aims to present a structured approach to integrating staff more effectively into EELISA’s core activities, following the European Commission’s recommendations on career sustainability in European universities.\n \nWhy Attend?\n•  Learn about new staff engagement strategies within EELISA.\n• Discover structured job shadowing programs and staff weeks designed to promote professional development and institutional collaboration.\n• Explore joint training initiatives focused on leadership, digital transformation, and international cooperation.\n• Understand the role of EELISA micro-credentials in recognizing staff contributions and integrating them into career progression frameworks. • Join an active network of EELISA staff representatives committed to fostering an inclusive and sustainable European university model.\n \nWhat to Expect?\nThe event will cover:\n🔹 Job Shadowing and Training Programs – Strengthening staff skills and fostering cross-institutional collaboration.\n🔹 EELISA Staff Weeks – Organizing structured, themed professional development sessions.\n🔹 Cultural and Professional Exchange Initiatives – Enhancing EELISA identity through joint learning activities.\n🔹 Visibility and Recognition Mechanisms – Improving staff engagement through enhanced communication strategies.\n🔹 Micro-Credentials for Staff Engagement – Developing formal recognition systems to support career growth.\n \nParticipants will gain access to structured mobility opportunities, enhanced professional networks, and new resources for staff development within the EELISA framework.
