SUMMARY:CIRCULAR CAMPUS 2030: SDG-Oriented Impact Assesment and Stakeholder-Driven Prioritization
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]SDG-oriented impact assessment and stakeholder-driven prioritization within the broader transition towards climate-neutral, circular and resilient university campuses. is the second of 3 workshops and 2 onsite events organised in the frame of the Joint Call activity Circular Campus 2030. This first touchpoint is organised by Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, and  aims to provide participants with a methodological framework to identify, assess and prioritize sustainability impacts associated with campus transformation processes, while supporting evidence-based and technically feasible decision-making approaches.\nRather than focusing exclusively on isolated technological interventions, the workshop will explore how universities can develop integrated sustainability strategies based on measurable impacts, stakeholder engagement and data-informed prioritization methodologies.\nUniversity campuses will be analysed as complex living laboratories where infrastructure systems, mobility patterns, resource consumption, governance structures and community behaviours interact dynamically. Particular attention will be given to how sustainability interventions can be evaluated not only in terms of environmental performance, but also considering feasibility, social acceptance, resilience and long-term implementation potential.\n \nThe workshop will introduce key concepts related to:\n– SDG-oriented campus transformation\n– Systems thinking applied to university campuses\n– Stakeholder mapping and engagement methodologies\n– Sustainability impact identification and assessment\n– Materiality analysis and prioritization frameworks\n– Multi-criteria and indicator-based evaluation methods\n– Data-driven sustainability decision-making processes\n– Trade-off and synergy analysis between sustainability objectives\n– Challenge-based innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration\nSpecial attention will also be given to the role of stakeholder participation in campus transformation processes, including how students, academic staff, technical personnel, local authorities, service providers and local communities can influence sustainability priorities and implementation pathways. The workshop will explore how participatory governance and co-creation approaches can support more inclusive, feasible and impactful sustainability strategies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]\nWHEN\n13 January 2027\n \nWHERE\nOnline\n \nAPPLICATION\nDeadline for application is 1 September 2026\nParticipation is recommened for students who want to join any activity in the context fo Circular Campus 2030\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_btn title=”APPLY HERE” style=”flat” color=”black” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdigitalcampus.eelisa.eu%2Factivities%2F4fd3859c-01ea-4cc0-b2cc-74c2b047c878|target:_blank”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_btn title=”LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ACTIVITY” style=”flat” color=”black” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Feelisa.eu%2Fevents%2Fcircular-campus-2030%2F|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_message message_box_color=”alert-warning” css=””]This initiative is part of the EELISA Circular Campus 2030,  funded through the EELISA Joint Call 7[/vc_message][/vc_column][/vc_row]\n
