She has served as a Senior Advisor for the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in Serbia and has worked extensively as a consultant for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) focusing on migration and asylum management. He specialises in criminal law and criminology, with a research focus on the intersection of penal populism and criminological theory. His current research examines how political pressures shape criminal sanction frameworks and the coherence of penal policy, and how these dynamics interact with the doctrinal foundations of criminal law and criminological insights. Her doctoral thesis deals with the Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) in the United Arab Emirates.\nThe FAU Office of Equality and Diversity is the central institution for the conceptualisation und implementation of the FAU gender equality and diversity strategy. This includes implementing different strategies at five faculties to increase the number of female academics in research and teaching as well as in academic top positions, especially in the field of STEM.
