SUMMARY:EELISA Knowledge Bites – Session #2: Learning Stations for Creating Active Learning Environments with Multi-stakeholder Interaction
DESCRIPTION:Active learning (AL) environments created in collaboration with external stakeholders can be instrumental for addressing the growing expectations of learners and increasing their satisfaction from learning and learning environments in higher education institutions (HEIs). It also provides considerable flexibility for ‘learning experience designers’ for incorporating alternative delivery modes and recognizing multiple forms of learning to create active learning environments that mix students, academics, and external actors.\nDo not miss session #2 of “ EELISA Knowledge bites”, the online series where experts from the different EELISA universities give talks on topics that matter when building, growing and teaching in EELISA Communities. This time, Professor and expert Emrah Acar, from ITU, will give us an insight into the ITU Learning Station Model – a model which has been piloted in digital, physical, and hybrid learning environments.\nConsidering that the Covid 19 pandemic has accelerated the global concerns for the rearrangement of the learning landscape and the search for more flexible forms of administration in HEIs, this session is key for those who seek alternative models to address the growing dissatisfaction of learners from the mass education system.\n \nWHEN\n12th of November, 2021 at 12 PM (CET ) / 2PM (Istambul time)\n \nREGISTER HERE\n \n
