SUMMARY:Special info day: “Open science in Horizon Europe, what does it take?”.
DESCRIPTION:As an approach to the scientific process that focuses on spreading knowledge as soon as it is available using digital and collaborative technology, Open Science (OS) is transforming the way we access knowledge and foster collaboration.\nThe European Commission website reads: “Open science is a policy priority for the European Commission and the standard method of working under its research and innovation funding programmes as it improves the quality, efficiency, and responsiveness of research”\nThe aim of this first info day on the Open Science held by EELISA is to set the framework of a series of OS events that will be organized under the EELISA InnoCORE umbrella. In addition to this, the session will focus on informing EELISA academicians, researchers, and EELISA communities about Horizon Europe’s definition and requirements on Open Science. The event will try to guide them on how to integrate Open Science practices into their scientific studies and courses in light of the EU Open Science Policy.\nWHEN\n4TH of April, 2022 from 09:00 to 12:45 CET\nFOR WHOM? \nEELISA Academicians and researchers, and EELISA Communities\n \nREGISTER here\n \n\n\nCHECK THE FULL PROGRAMME FOR THE EVENT\n \n\n\n\n09:00-09:15\nINTRO & WELCOME WORDS\nOpen Science under EELISA Alliance (EELISA InnoCORE)Prof. Dana Georghe, Director of Scientific Research at UPB – Researcher (Universității POLITEHNICA din București)Leader of EELISA InnoCORE WP3 ‘Strategic Framework for Open Science’\n\n\n09:15-09:45\nKEYNOTE SPEAKER \nProf. Tudor Prisecaru, President of UPB Senate, presenting: “Open Science Through Challenges and Opportunities”.\n\n\n09:45-10:15 \nOPEN SCIENCE IN HORIZON EUROPE\nOpen Science in the new ERA (European Research Area) and Horizon Europe.
