DESCRIPTION:The next UPM EELISA Innovation Talk will take place during the award ceremony of ActúaUPM’s best ideas competition, on 19 April 2023!\nDuring the ceremony, attendants will have the opportunity to get to know a selection of the best ideas gathered via the competition ActúaUPM (20th edition). In the framework of the ceremony, as EELISA Innovation Talk, we will have the chance to meet and get to know more about the experience of two successful innovators.\n \nSpeakers\n \nBlanca Travesí\n\n \nCo-founder of U4IMPACT, the platform for connecting students with companies, where she leads the area of projects and university collaborations. Blanca is a biomedical engineer with expertise in intelligent data analysis.  During her university years Blanca was Co-Founder and Secretary General of the international cooperation association Inakuwa to promote women’s education in Tanzania.\n \n \nJulio Ceballos\n\nSpecialist in internationalization, market strategy and commercial negotiation, Julio Ceballos is a lawyer-economist who has developed his career in Finland, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and China. Since 2006 he has managed the business of leading consumer brands (Pikolin, Telepizza, Pronovias, Scabal, etc.) in China. As an independent consultant, he advises Western companies in their sourcing and wholesale businesses, market multiplication and implementation processes in the Asian market.\nAlong with his professional activity, Julio Ceballos is a lecturer and gives courses on the geopolitical ecosystem of China and workshops on how to do business with the Asian giant. In addition, he is an opinion columnist (Vocento Group) and in 2023 he published the book “Observar el arroz crecer.
