Over 4,000 participants who have engaged in the innovative and transformative learning experiences organized by EELISA Communities will receive their EELISA Credentials this week. This represents the tangible acknowledgment of their dedication and a testament to their commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
For EELISA, these participants have been instrumental in bringing to life EELISA’s vision of combining innovation, high-quality education, and positive societal impact in the early stages of the alliance’s implementation.
This moment arrives at a particularly significant juncture – the transition into EELISA Phase 2, marked by the consolidation and growth of the Alliance. The commemoration of EELISA Days 2023 also adds a meaningful layer to this occasion, as it pays tribute to the core principles of dedication, excellence, and diversity. Furthermore, the list of EELISA Days’ events now includes activities that ultimately contribute to the attainment of more EELISA credentials.
As articulated by Thibaut Skrzypek, leader of the former EELISA Work Package 3 Education Management & Accreditation, “EELISA Credentials ’empower students by providing visibility into their progress in terms of knowledge and skills that complement the traditional academic pathway. While conventional education focuses on a profession, a sector, or a scientific domain, EELISA Credentials underscore their competence in addressing societal challenges in addition to those areas.'”
We congratulate all the EELISA credential awardees!
