Q. What is your purpose that motivates you to be/become an #EEnovator?
A. What drives me is the desire to reimagine how we live, build and coexist with the living world. As a designer working at the crossroads of material innovation and the life sciences, I am motivated by the need to address urgent ecological and social challenges through a creative, systemic lens. My goal is to open up new ways of thinking and doing — especially by reconnecting design with biology, sustainability and the rhythms of nature.

Q. What is innovation for you?
A. Innovation is not just about creating something new — it is about transforming relationships: between humans and materials, between disciplines, and between science and society. For me, innovation is ecological by essence: it draws from the intelligence of natural processes, embraces uncertainty and complexity, and dares to imagine futures that are more inclusive, respectful and resilient.

Q. What have you learned on your innovation journey?

A. I’ve learned that meaningful innovation often begins at the margins — where ideas, disciplines, and ways of knowing intersect. It requires patience, humility, and the courage to challenge norms. Through collaborative projects involving architects, biologists, engineers and artisans, I have discovered the power of dialogue and experimentation in nurturing truly transformative solutions. Above all, I’ve come to see innovation as a collective adventure — rooted in care, curiosity and critical thinking.
