
EELISA Change Makers Course: Shaping the Future

Through dynamic, hands-on teamwork, you’ll move from spark to solution—ideating, testing, and pitching projects designed to tackle pressing societal and environmental challenges. With a strong emphasis on responsible innovation, inclusivity, and positive change, this course is your launchpad for becoming a purpose-driven innovator.
By the end of the journey, you will:
– Discover how to shape and validate ideas that solve real social or environmental problems.
– Map out key stakeholders, from communities and beneficiaries to early adopters and customers.
– Use the Business Model Canvas to design initiatives that blend impact and sustainability.
– Gain practical tools for early validation, prototyping, and testing.
– Master communication and pitching skills to inspire action and attract support.
– Build connections with a vibrant network of entrepreneurs, changemakers, and impact investors.
Your experience will culminate in an exciting Demo Day, where you and your team will showcase your solutions to a panel of distinguished experts from academia, entrepreneurship, and investment—demonstrating how your work contributes to the SDGs and drives societal transformation.

Deliverables
Throughout the course, each team will be required to submit the following deliverables in the shared course folder:
– NDA of the idea (problem definition and team commitment)
– Creative diary.
– Final presentation (pitch deck for Demo Day)
Evaluation
Individual assignments: 40%
Teamwork (including final pitch): 40%
Contributions/attendance: 20%
Criteria: understanding of concepts, ability to apply them, contributions to discussions, creativity, and teamwork.
