
EELISA JSPS Programme – Grender and Inclusiveness Module
The overall objective of the JPSP courses is to contribute to the strengthening of the quality, relevance, and inclusiveness of higher education. This objective will be achieved through the acquisition of tools and methodologies to develop young researchers’ public speaking and teaching skills, ensuring more engaging and inclusive learning environments for students.
By the end of the module, participants will be able to:
– be aware of how gender-based violence, discrimination, and bias unfold in communication an academic environment
– acquire the perspective of intersectionality to identify how other identity dimensions interact with gender causing specific forms of discrimination
– acquire specific tools to prevent and contrast harmful gender-based dynamics in class
– be able to think about new creative strategies to minimize gender bias and promote the empowerment of students belonging to marginalized groups
Participants will:
– understand the different teaching methods to be used in the classroom and the criteria for choosing them based on the content and learning objectives to be developed.
– know the tools to make communication, teaching quality, and the ability to interact with participants in a given training activity more effective, ensuring more engaging and inclusive learning environments for students.
