
EELISA JSPS Programme Training – Public Speaking
The overall objective of the JPSP courses is to contribute to the strengthening of the quality, relevance, and inclusiveness of higher education. This objective will be achieved through the acquisition of tools and methodologies to develop young researchers’ public speaking and teaching skills, ensuring more engaging and inclusive learning environments for students.
By the end of the module, participants will be able to:
– understand the theoretical and practical principles of public speaking
– experience firsthand communicating to an audience
– receive feedback and suggestions regarding your communication skills
– Gain greater awareness of the three key components of public speaking and learn how to give an effective presentation
– Learn how to manage anxiety and stress in order to deliver a good teaching performance
Participants will
– understand the different teaching methods to be used in the classroom and the criteria for choosing them based on the content and learning objectives to be developed.
