Course Programme
The EELISA Digital Health & Well-Being Summer School 2025 is a hands-on program designed to equip you with future-ready skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and technical expertise to solve real-life challenges in the health sector. This interdisciplinary course brings together students from diverse fields—health, technology, business, and social sciences—to tackle complex societal problems through innovative and scalable digital solutions.
Over one week, you will learn to apply design thinking and entrepreneurial problem-solving methods, work effectively in diverse teams, and explore how digital transformation and innovation can improve healthcare and well-being. Guided by experienced educators, industry experts, and coaches, you will develop solutions that are sustainable, impactful, and viable for real-world implementation.
The course emphasizes teamwork, project management, and entrepreneurial skills such as adaptability, opportunity recognition, and value creation, helping you develop a strong professional and innovation-driven mindset. You will also gain experience using modern digital tools to prototype and test ideas, preparing you to drive change in the healthcare ecosystem.
Upon successful completion, you will earn up to 3 ECTS credits, assessed through a combination of a final project presentation and a personal professional portfolio. This course offers the perfect blend of technical know-how and future-oriented skills to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements
The Summer School is open for BSc, MSc and PhD students from all departments and disciplines at ZHAW, the EELISA Partner universities and other institutions of higher education.
The number of participants is limited to 30. All applications will be evaluated after the application deadline, May 1st, 2025. You will be informed by calendar week 20 whether you can take part in the Digital Health & Well-Being Summer School.

All attendees are required to dedicate their full attention to the program for its duration. Please make sure to pause other obligations to ensure a fully engaging experience.
