Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and held annually on 5 June since 1974, World Environment Day. During the following week, Istanbul Technical University will be organising a series of events to promote sustainable practices in research and education as well as to increase awareness regarding environmental issues. On this occasion, an international student discussion session will be held via zoom on June 10, 2022 between 11:00-14:00 (CEST)

Students from EELISA partner institutions of the Istanbul Technical University are also invited to submit an abstract of their presentation propositions of maximum 200 words.

Through their presentations students are expected to share their good practices regarding sustainability within their education, project teams or extracurricular activities. The abstracts should be submitted to bayaray@itu.edu.tr and duransa@itu.edu.tr
