Turn your ideas into high-impact collaborative projects through EELISA.

What is it?

Would you like to access funding opportunities, create high-impact collaborative projects, and connect with partners through EELISA? This strategic framework is designed to help you develop your ideas into successful collaborative projects by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for collaboration.

With this framework, you can:

  • Identify, prioritise, and manage collaborative projects across EELISA.
  • Align your project with EELISA’s mission, strategic objectives, and core values.
  • Access structured support to acess external funding while maintaining the autonomy of project coordinators.
  • Develop bottom-up initiatives led by EELISA Communities, academic staff, and other stakeholders.

Why is it important form academics/researchers at your institutions?

  • Helps transform ideas into competitive project proposals.
  • Facilitates collaboration with partners across the Alliance.
  • Supports the development of:
    • Joint education and multidisciplinary initiatives
    • Research and innovation projects
    • Societal impact activities
  • Contributes to the long-term growth and sustainability of EELISA.

How does it work?

It is a simple 5-step process:

  1. Identify opportunities – Identification of funding calls through EELISA Communities (bottom-up) or the EELISA Offices and EELISA Executive Board (top-down).
  2. Pre-screen – Check eligibility, funding conditions, consortium requirements, and deadlines, reflect them in a project summary document, and send it to the EELISA Central Office and your EELISA Local Office.
  3. Analyse – The EELISA Central Office and the relevant EELISA Local Office(s) assess the project summary based on its strategic alignment, feasibility, impact, and added value for EELISA. Following a positive assessment, the project is submitted to the EELISA Executive Board for approval.
  4. Prioritise – If the Executive Board approves the project for inclusion in the EELISA Project Portfolio, EELISA issues a customised support letter to accompany the project application.
  5. Implement & monitor – Successful projects receive ongoing support, portfolio management, and progress monitoring.
