EELISA Days at UNSTPB! Sustainable future of my faculty (challenge for students)
To enhance participants’ better understanding of how their actions can contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, an invited professor of environmental engineering will provide a brief overview of the SDGs.
Students will be asked to conduct an inventory of what their university is currently doing on the 17 SDG themes in education, research, and operations as part of the second part of the challenge.
Next, a question about the most significant SDG will be addressed to the students. The goals with the highest ranking will be selected based on the results, and the students will then present the kinds of actions that their faculty might take going forward to become more sustainable.
This challenge can encourage students to take on a sense of social responsibility and enable them to actively participate in building a sustainable future, starting with specific actions within their faculty.
