EELISA Days Workshop – Open up your research with EELISA!
You are doing research for a reason: you are motivated to achieve change. You wish to come up with a new technology, an innovative method, a novel approach to a certain problem. But can you achieve real change if your innovative ideas are not known, trusted and used by the relevant stakeholders of your research? Opening up your research means sharing your results with other researchers, and involve users of your results in the research process as early and widely as possible.
BME will organize an interactive workshop for participants of the Scientific Student Conference (TDK) about the fundamentals of open science. The organizers will invite both early stage researchers and experienced researchers from EELISA partner institutions to share their Open Science practices, which will be followed by an interactive exercise.
The first objective of the course is to introduce Open Science by showing its context, content and practice. The second objective is to make the students think: how can they open up their research to achieve impact beyond academia?
The Scientific Student Conference (TDK) has a 70-years history, and almost all the top Hungarian scientists and industrial researchers have been involved in this program. The TDK is highly popular among talented students. The annual conference will be organized in the middle of November this year in Budapest, and provides a great opportunity to link up with EELISA/ InnoCORE objectives.
