From 24th August – 5th September 2025, high in the Swiss Alps, in the midst of nature, the unspoilt mountain village of Falera, will host ISUenergy 2025, an interdisciplinary academic program focused on the future of sustainable energy. This collaborative programme, organized by EELISA, ZHAW and the association ISUres, is open to students supported by EELISA.

The ISUenergy 2025 will cover a wide spectrum from the fundamentals of technologies an their development to the industrialisation of component production as well as the realisation of sustainable energy systems to the political framework conditions. This allows for a holistic view of the complex interrelationships involved in succeeding or failing in the energy transition to a sustainable economy. Mornings feature lectures, while evenings are dedicated to collaborative labs and projects. It is ideal for students in engineering, sciences, economics, and political science.

If you are astudent focused on systems engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, energy and environmental engineering, mechanical engineering and architecture, but also physics, chemistry, process engineering, computer science, economics and political science, this might be your summer. Take advantage of your career by acquiring knowledge about sustainable energy production, distribution, storage and use, while networking with expertsand like-minded professionals and academics from around the world.
