Innovation Talk session#6 – EELISA Alumni paving the way towards successful innovation, inspiring future change-makers
The sixth EELISA Innovation Talk will take place during the 19 actúaupm start-ups award ceremony on 30 November! During the ceremony, UPM will award the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize to its best start-ups, as well the prize to the best project developed by students and the award to the project with highest social impact. The ceremony will be an opportunity to know more about the most promising start-ups born in UPM and meet the entrepreneurs behind them.
In the framework of the ceremony, as sixth EELISA Innovation Talk, we will have the chance to meet and get to know more about the experience of two successful entrepreneurs: Beatriz Cerrolaza, co-founder and CEO of Alise Devices and Business Developer Manager in Thermophoton, and Ramón Martínez, founder and CEO of Dentaltix.

Speakers:
– Beatriz Cerrolaza, Telecommunications Engineer, PhD in Advanced Materials and serial entrepreneur. After 6 years working as researcher in public research centres, Beatriz decided to refocus her career and become an entrepreneur. In 2012, together with other colleagues, she founded the start-up Alise Devices. She has also participated in setting-up MyPublicInbox and recently joined the UPM spin-off THERMOPHOTON.
– Ramón Martínez is an architect by UPM and holds an executive MBA by IE Business School. In 2010, Ramón participated in the 7Th actúaupm competition with his project Dentared, a project that is still up and running and progressing. Ramón is founder and CEO of Dentaltix.com, E-Commerce B2B for dental clinics, the biggest online dental deposit in Europe with more than 45,000 dental products.
