The Future is Green: a metaverse and gamification challenge for sustainable city design
Do you consider yourself a “gamer”? What if you could apply your knowledge in Roblox or Minecraft to help our society and the world around us?
Join the metaverse and gamification challenge for EELISA students! An activity by the EELISA Metaverse & Sustainability Community and learn how to develop educational games on sustainability and climate change mitigation in urban areas through the power of game design and the metaverse.
Urban areas are under threat from climate change, but we can take action. Through Roblox and Minecraft, platforms loved by millions of kids worldwide, we can educate, inspire, and reshape our urban future. Imagine the impact we can make together!
Come to Erlangen, Germany, and work together in a team with students from all over Europe. Showcase your skills, and gain new ones along people from all fields and backgrounds.
Program:
After two days of expert guidance on sustainable cities and game design, you will have the chance to present your creation to our jury of sustainability, game design, and education experts. Their feedback will fuel your growth and help refine your masterpiece.
A Roblox expert will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and support with game development specifically for the Roblox platform. However, please note that we are unable to offer assistance or support for participants who choose to develop games on other platforms, such as Minecraft or similar alternatives.
