The Seasonal School offers an engaging introduction to agent-based modelling (ABMs), equipping you with the tools to understand and analyse complex economic and social systems. Through a blend of theory and hands-on experience, you will learn how to design your own models using the LSD platform and analyse them with statistical and econometric techniques in R.

Beyond the technical skills, the programme connects modelling to real-world challenges—exploring topics such as economic growth, labour markets, business cycles, and climate change. You will also gain experience in testing scenarios and running policy experiments, giving you practical insight into how decisions shape complex systems.
