#EELISAConnectWorkshop: Sustainable Business Research Week
Sustainability and sustainable development are urgent and necessary research areas due to human activity’s impact on the balance of social and environmental systems. As part of the competencies of future engineers, technical universities incorporate teaching and research in business and economics. Engineering conditions innovation and technological advances, which cannot be left aside from the impact on sustainability that they may produce. Therefore, the study of sustainability from a socio-economic perspective is closely linked to engineering. Research into the impact of businesses and their business models on sustainability is strongly conditioned by their value proposition and technical production processes.
The workshop aims to identify research synergies and define spaces for collaboration between EELISA Alliance academics engaged in research on various aspects of business models for sustainability and value creation for their stakeholders, understood as the groups affected by or that can influence organisational activity (including the natural environment). If your line of research includes or can include any of these aspects, do not hesitate to participate in the workshop. You will be able to share your work with other participants and gather good research practices, identify possible future collaborations and acquire new knowledge on the subject.
