Would you like to improve how you present your work to broader audiences? If that is the case, join this EELISA Workshop on Science Communication for PhD students, and gather the skills to share your research with the world.

This workshop is tailored specifically for doctoral candidates within EELISA who want to sharpen their science communication skills. The event kicks off with a short introduction by the FAU local communication team, who will share key insights and tips on effective science communication. After this, every participant will have some time to prepare their own research topic and practice delivering it in a clear, engaging 30-second presentation in front of the group.

Workshop agenda

 – 11:00 – 11:30: Welcome and introduction on science communication by FAU local communication team

 – 11:30 – 12:00: Work on your own 30-second presentation

 – 12:00 – 12:30: Presentations followed by feedback

 – 12:30 – 13:00: Lunch and networking

Up to 20 participants will be welcomed. Depending on applications, up to two people per EELISA partner university will be acceptrd, on a first come, first serve basis.

Lunch and soft drinks will be provided, along with lots of fun, know-how, and great company!
