Next week, EELISA European University, together with more than 35 European Universities Alliances, will participate in the 35th Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) in Gothenburg.
For the first time, EELISA will have a presence in the exhibitor area at Booth P78, alongside alliances ENHANCE and EUt+. Visitors are invited to explore opportunities for cooperation, learn about EELISA’s groundbreaking programmes, and meet its 10 member universities and collaborating partners.
Interactive Session: Alliances4EthicalTech – What Skills Will Shape the Future?
On 11 September, from 10:00 to 11:00 at Booth P78, EELISA will co-host a hands-on session on the skills and competences needed for an ethical and sustainable digital future. The session will encourage active participation and highlight the essential role of European Universities in equipping future professionals to address the challenges of technological transformation and global collaboration.
Learning from Failure to Fuel Innovation
EELISA’s participation also includes the contribution of Executive Director Sofia d’Aguiar in the Roundtable Fail to Succeed: Engagement Stories and Practices from EUI Alliances on the 10th of September from 15:30 – 16:30 CEST (Room: F5). In this session, alongside representatives from ENLIGHT and ENGAGE.EU, panellists will reflect on notable challenges faced by alliances, share lessons learned, and explore how past setbacks have informed new practices to drive innovation, collaboration, and stronger educational outcomes.
United for Collaboration
Under the European Universities Initiative (EUI) and the community of practice FOREU4ALL, the alliances embody the spirit of European collaboration in higher education. Aligned with this year’s motto, “Go Create”, they will showcase inclusive, sustainable, and collaborative higher education models through more than 20 dedicated sessions, including a FOREU4ALL event on Wednesday, 10 September, from 13:30 to 14:30.
