On 13th November, during EELISA Days, I, Vagisha Aggarwal, as a part of the student board at EELISA PSL conducted a Quiz for the students of Université PSL. The aim was to raise awareness about the alliance, its goals, and to make students aware of how they can participate in activities that they are passionate about through channels like communities, courses and events using the opportunity finder section on the EELISA website and, of course, have a little bit of competition and fun!
The quiz was centred around increasing consciousness about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and testing knowledge about EELISA, such as its inception, partnering institutions & countries. It also included questions about Europe, its culture, geography, and economics with the addition of jovial elements like weird facts and filming locations in and around Paris.
Finally, it was time for the quiz!! While preparing the questions, I made sure to do thorough research and include detailed questions by reading several articles and news. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how well aware the participants were. It was a lot of fun moderating the quiz due to the increased enthusiasm and vigour of the participants. Even though every team had the zeal to emerge as the winner, the energy of the room was very vibrant and you could hear cheers and laughs shared between the teams.
The winning team will go to FAU, Erlangen in May 2024 to get a close overview of what EELISA does and to take part in various activities. Since is a big school, with different campuses across Paris, the quiz also proved to be a good networking ground for the students coming from these different universities. Overall, the event was a huge success, I received very positive reviews & everyone was very content and eager to actively participate in EELISA.

She is a student council member at EELISA at Université PSL. She is currently pursuing her final year of a Masters in Material Science and Engineering at Chimie ParisTech – PSL. She is passionate about innovations in sustainable product development and formulation.
