We are thrilled to announce the selection of 13 activities funded under the EELISA Joint Call #3, led by our vibrant EELISA Communities. These initiatives are set to transform higher education through collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches, tackling complex societal challenges aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Among the funded activities, projects like “Corrosion in Green Energy Technologies” and “Smarter Healthcare for Smarter Cities” promise to push boundaries in their respective fields. Participants can also look forward to engaging in cutting-edge endeavors such as “Challenge-based Human-Inspired Computer Vision” and “Enhancing built environment visualization through XR.”
This call, with a total budget of €130,000, underscores our commitment to promoting innovative teaching methods like Challenge Based Learning (CBL), and fostering transnational cooperation within our diverse EELISA network.
A Commitment to Diversity and Equal Engagement
A key highlight of this call is the equal engagement of all 10 EELISA members in the proposal process. We are also proud to announce that half of the accepted proposals are led by women leaders, demonstrating our commitment to gender equality and diversity within our educational initiatives.

These activities are spearheaded by EELISA Communities: mission-driven, interdisciplinary, and international working groups involving diverse stakeholders committed to educational transformation and societal impact.
By participating in these activities, students will engage in innovative learning formats to address pressing global challenges & earn EELISA Credentials, recognizing their engagement with SDGs and their contribution to creating real societal impact.
