This year, EELISA proudly joined the global celebration of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) on June 23, under the theme “Together in Engineering” — a message that resonates with the spirit of our transnational alliance.
To mark this occasion, we launched a special joint EELISA-wide social media campaign that showcased the voices and visions of women engineers from across our member institutions. Through a combination of visual posts and a collective video reel, participants responded to the question:

Their answers reflect the diversity, and impact of engineering today — from promoting sustainable energy solutions and clean water access to advancing biotechnology, AI, and digital wellbeing.
