Following the I EELISA Connect Call for Workshops, the EELISA InnoCORE Advisory Board for Research and Innovation (ACRI) met during the 5th May for evaluating the proposals received. As a resulti, three workshops have been selected for funding with a total budget of 51,000 €. The ACRI has emphasized the high quality of the applications received, encouraging academics and researchers to submit new and non-selected applications for the next EELISA Connect Call (date to be announced soon).
The selected workshops cover very different research fields —values and considerations of water, tech diplomacy and circular economy— and different EELISA SRAs (Strategic Research Areas) —social sciences and humanities; culture, creativity and inclusive society; advance materials and climate energy and mobility—, showcasing the interdisciplinary nature of EELISA Alliance. The workshops will mobilise researchers and academics from most EELISA partners and they will be hosted between June and July 2023 by UPM, SSSA and BME.
This was the first EELISA Connect call for workshops launched under EELISA InnoCORE, the research & innovation wing of EELISA. EELISA Connect is a bottom-up initiative meant for providing a setting for the discussion among EELISA researchers and academics and generating new proposals for future joint research projects.
