Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Robotics? Are you eager to develop environments where humans, robots, and virtual entities coexist? Then AIRONE School is your place.
SSSA’s Seasonal Schools are training programs “of excellence”, which are strongly interdisciplinary, and focused on frontier research topics. In particular, the AIRONE School will teach students the main aspects of eXtended Reality, the basics for the design and control of collaborative and wearable robots for immersive telepresence, and the fundamentals of machine learning and AI applied to Robotics and artificial vision systems.
AIRONE will be delivered in English to a maximum of 20 attendees at the premises of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, in Pisa, Italy, from June 21 to June 26, 2021. The total duration will be 44 hours (equivalent to 4 ECTS), including the final assessment.
This is a special call for all EELISA students enrolled in a Bachelor degree, Masters’ Degree, or PhD course at an Italian or a foreign university, and who are on track relative to the examinations required by their educational institutions and with an average examination mark at least equal to 27/30 in the Italian system, or at least B in the international system. A self-certified knowledge of English at or above B2 level is required.
Admissions are based on the eligibility criteria and a first-come-first-served mechanism.
- The Scuola will cover the registration and attendance costs, including tutorship and reference material, and the subsistence (lunch/dinner at the canteen of the Scuola for the entire length of the course) for a maximum of 8 students affiliated with an EELISA university partner, including SNS.
- Student mobility and accommodation might be covered by the partner university. Contact your Erasmus + representative.
