EELISA is delighted to be part of the European Researchers Night 2020 through its partners. Do not miss the digital event organized by UPM´s Science Culture Unit and dedicated to the SDGs and how technologies can play an essential role to achieve them; and the ¨Little nocturnal secrets¨ , an unusual encounter with researchers and actors from the world of research, by the Université PSL, as well as the roundtables and workshops organized by Scuola Normale Superiore.
Funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, the European Researchers´Night is a Europe-wide public event that takes place simultaneously in 29 countries and brings researchers closer to the public. It showcases the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives, stimulating interest in research careers – particularly among young people. In 2019, it attracted 1.6 million visitors across more than 400 cities in Europe and beyond. This year is celebrated mostly in a digital format.
