Are you envisioning a groundbreaking hackathon to improve access to clean water, a workshop to train future leaders in decarbonization, or a webinar on fostering a more equitable academia? If so, this could be your opportunity!
With this call, EELISA provides both established and emerging EELISA Communities with the chance to secure funding and support for the development of innovative, bottom-up educational projects.
With a total funding of €140,000, this new edition of the EELISA Joint Call increases the funding per activity from €10,000 to €15,000 while continuing to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among partner universities. It also reinforces the implementation of Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) projects to tackle global challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key new features of this edition are that all proposed activities must be hybrid or online, broadening participation while minimizing the ecological footprint, and must take place after June 1st, 2025. In line with its commitment to international cooperation and sustainability, EELISA also encourages the inclusion of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU) as a co-organizer, as in previous calls.
Proposals will be evaluated based on impact, learning innovation, and feasibility. Applications exceeding the funding cap or lacking clear evaluation criteria will not be considered.
Deadline to apply is 15 March, 2025
