One of the main missions of the EELISA Alliance is to propose a shared vision of the profile of the future European Engineer. This vision aims to inspire the necessary transformations in the training processes that will foster a new generation of engineers in Europe – high-level scientists that could become transformative leaders, and committed professional citizens ready to understand and contribute with sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by societies.
With this purpose, EELISA is launching a consultation process open to experts, professionals, researchers, teachers, students and all members of the EELISA network and beyond.
What new traits, sets of skills and knowledge should engineers have? What sets of values, sensibilities and understanding of what engineering entails from a societal and environmental perspective?
This is your chance to share your views and informed opinions, data, documents, or reflections on this potential definition of the future European Engineer.
