At the core of EELISA Communities lies a shared commitment to innovation,collaboration, and shaping the future of education. Across the Alliance, these groups continue to create transformative learning experiences that connect students, educators, and society in meaningful ways.
The 7th edition of the EELISA Joint Call for EELISA Communities introduced, for the first time, two distinct topics: Research & Innovation, and Student-Led Training, Community Building, and Campus Engagement. A total of 39 high-quality proposals were submitted,26 under the first category and 13 under the second. This strong response reflects not only the growing engagement across the Alliance, but also the diversity of ideas spanning both research-driven educational activities and student-led initiatives.
All proposals were exceptionally competitive, demonstrating a high level of dedication, creativity, and collaborative effort across the EELISA ecosystem, with many submissions showing clear potential for long-term sustainability, innovative learning formats, and meaningful societal impact. After a highly competitive evaluation process, 17 proposals were selected for funding. These initiatives stood out for their originality, feasibility, and strong alignment with the objectives of their respective topics. In particular, they demonstrated the effective use of active and transformative learning methodologies while fostering student engagement and inter-institutional collaboration.
Together, these selected proposals reflect EELISA’s vision of interdisciplinary collaboration, research and innovation, and empowered student participation. We are pleased to present the selected projects of the 7th EELISA Joint Call.
